Neurofeedback Treatment of Restless Legs Syndrome and Periodic Leg Movements in Sleep

 

The tremendous relief that these patients have reported as a result of neurofeedback does suggest that even if a few occasional neurofeedback reinforcement sessions were required and it was necessary for patients to remain on medication, many patients who suffer with RLS and PLM may find that neurofeedback can provide them with a greater relief of symptoms than they are obtaining with traditional medical treatments alone.
