Hello! I am a board-certified Dance/Movement Therapist, EMDR certified and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.  I strive to assist my clients to move through challenging experiences by helping them with understanding the power of the mind/body connection.  The hope is that once this connection is better understood, an individual can reconnect to their life fully. 

Having personally experienced the powerful and transformative aspects of combining Dance/Movement Therapy with traditional talk therapy approaches, (such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy) my understanding of how best to support my clients throughout their personal journeys to wholeness has been strengthened.  I have had the privilege to work in community, school, and hospital environments as well as private practice settings with children to adults. 

These experiences have provided me with an extensive understanding of how unique each experience within the therapy process truly can be.  This has allowed me to become skilled in building individualized treatment plans for each client.  I hope to have the opportunity to talk further with you about the areas you seek to find personal growth.
