My story is a simple one in one way but a roller coaster in other ways.  Simply I've been a counselor for over 12 years and have worked in a variety of settings from community counseling, juvenile residential and detention to private practice.  I found a love for business along the way which helped build this business.

The roller coaster times came especially after the birth of my second child who was born at 27 weeks premature.  Post-partum depression stole my very being and who I was down to my core.  I had never experienced something so powerful and quick.  I was aware I wasn't myself but felt powerless to change the direction my life was going.  It was in my darkest moment when I reached out for help that I felt the way addressing root cause issues can change an entire life.

This experience made me passionate to figure out why as a clinician for almost 10 years that I didn't know about these root cause issues to anxiety and depression.  What class did I not take in school?  What conference session did I miss?  How did everyone else know about this and I didn't?  But then I realized that almost no one in our field as mental health professionals knew about this and I knew instantly what I needed to do.  I am passionate about educating professionals and regular people about the potential root cause of mental health issues because I've lived it and felt the power of addressing these core aspects of our health.
